Chatillon motorized UTSM 500 lb universal test stand delivers high-performance characteristics needed in exacting laboratory and production tests.

This versatile 500 lb test stand permits accurate and dependable measurements for compressive or tensile strength of springs, wire, rubber, aluminum, catalysts, cosmetics, pills, plastics, switches and paper, as well as many specialized applications. The test stand accommodates Chatillon force gauges as the readout.

• Capacity: 500lb 
• The UTSM is operated by 115 Vac 50/60 cycles. The DC gear-motor maintains constant platform speeds under varying loads. (220 Vac operation available.)
• Standard travel speed is adjustable from 1" per minute to 12" per minute. Standard vertical travel distance is 6".
• Operator may override a set speed by use of a three position selector switch: maximum, minimum, or variable speed may be selected.
• A heavy duty up/down switch controls platen travel. Drive screw is self locking; holds rated load without slipping.
• A circuit breaker protects the motor against overload damage.
• Ram platform is adjustable for maintaining parellelism with compression plate on force gauge.
• Horizontal clearance between columns is 8': Carriage platen is 6" wide x 3" deep.
• Can be used in vertical or horizontal position.

Chatillon's maintenance free UTSM test stand design utilizes a tough aluminum casting with oilite bearings. Teflon impregnated bronze bearings in the travel carriage and gauge support housing increases cycle life. ARMOLOY plated, hardened steel columns are 1" diameter x 29" high.

NOTE: this Chatillon motorized test stand is sold as is. Remote loadcell force gauge is extra.
