Test stands
Test stands are major components of a force testing system. Test stands are useful because they regulate the speed of a test, thereby minimizing force variations caused by speed.
For accurate material tests (of metals, plastics, ceramics, etc) you can use force gauges in conjunction with a manually operated or motorized test stand. We offer various grips and fixtures for use with these instruments.
Test stands vary considerably in size, capacity, loading methods and sophistication. Basic manually operated stands are typically operated by a hand wheel or lever, and are available in a range of heights and configurations. For repeatable results, a motorized test stand is always preferable.
