himpo DT-105A and Shimpo DT-107A are handheld, battery operated digital tachometers. They can accurately measure rotational/linear/surface speeds and total length. Tachometer's readings can be displayed in a wide variety of engineering units with the help of a built-in selector switch.
Which model should I buy?
Shimpo DT-105A is the LCD version, to be used in sunlight and provides longest battery life
Shimpo DT-107A is the LED version that will work better in poorly lit or dark environments but will drain battery faster
The DT-105A-S12 & DT-107A-S12 models includes a 12" circumference measuring wheel that offers safer and easier surface speed measurement
for higher measuring range, non-contact speed measurements consider Shimpo's DT-205LR and DT-207LR; these instruments also feature a contact adapter, conveniently allowing both non-contact and contact measurements
